Earl’s had quite an influence on Nelson.

I’ve never met an Opal either.

Earl’s doing a GREAT job…keep it up. The world needs more “dagnabbits” instead of the filth that oozes out of people’s mouths, these days

I’ve hardly ever heard of anyone called “Nelson” either outside of a few notable examples. (Nelson Mandela, etc.) Usually it is a surname when I come across it.

I have a very common first (Jennifer) and middle name. (Marie) so common, that during all 3 years in my middle school choir class, there was another Jennifer Marie.

I had an elderly Aunt Opal when I was young (I’m 64 now). She died before I hit puberty.

Hi Gang, My first name is Lauren, I’m a 58 yr. old male. Never had a problem until I turned 45. Now everyone wants to see my ID. Lauren is [was] olde male Irish. Mom didn’t know there are 2 spellings…Loren. Not a lot of female Laurens in 50’s & 60’s.

Oh, we still have some Opals and Virgils around these parts. Mostly in rural Kentucky, but they do exist. There are still plenty of Earls.
