Wonder if anybody’s been counting the number ofstrips this year Earl’s been sitting in chair? It’s gottabe at least 80 times.

Let’s see, by the time the original Christmas was 2 weeks away, John the Baptist would have been 5 and a half months old – his father was certainly surprised (John’s Mom was around Opal’s age).

Wake up. Opal wants jewels, gems, and gold. You were expecting something else? Earl will sit on it and get back to her later. His wallet is in a pressing engagement.
