There was an interesting video on youtube that I found the other day about super conductors and phase locking. With a sufficiently chilled superconducting disk, you can have levitation 4" UNDER a metal plate, with the disk rotating along the edge of a circular plate stuck at whatever angle you turned it. I’m sure this kind of behavior would drive electronics engineers mad trying to troubleshoot a logic circuit using superconducting wires. May be better to just install WiFi all across the ship.
