Satchel: Why are you reading books about the lives of geniuses? Bucky: I'm studying how other geniuses handled creative blocks. Satchel: You mean legos? Bucky: No, I don't have the one on legos... Greek philosopher? Satchel: Danish construction. Bucky: Really? Never heard of 'im. Satchel: I hear 'em inside our vacuum a lot. Bucky: Ok, don't talk to me while I'm working on my genius, you're confusing me.

What Bucky needs to say: “Lego my ego”.

There’s a fine line between genius and insanity. And we all now which side of the line Bucky is on.

Legos in the vacuum. The bane of my mother’s existence.

You said, “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% stealing ideas from actual geniuses like Nicola Tesla” (the REAL Thomas Alva Edison, 1847-1931)"
My son-in-law, an electrical engineer, worships Tesla – has a Tesla tee shirt.

To those dissing Edison: there’d be no iPods, MP3s, CDs, cassettes, 8-tracks nor vinvyls if it weren’t for Edison’s phonograph. I even did a 5th grade report on the man. So enough already about the electric light! On another note: I used to play with Legos too; even my mother has been to LegoLand in Denmark in the 70s (my maternal grandmother was proud of her paternal Danish heritage).

Not just Tesla, either. He stole the early silent movie about a moon expedition from the Frenchman who made the mistake of sending TAE copies for distribution. This was ther movie with the rocket sticking out of the man in th e/moon’s eye.

Tom and Nic had a lot of feuding going on. I admire them both but Tesla was my real “mad scientist” hero. Anyone who could blow out the generator at Niagra Falls just experimenting is cool in my book.

The bottom genius book is about “Lennon”. Yes! There should be a McCartney book under that, though. The top book is on Da Vinci.
