(uh, ONE bit of advice tho — I DON’T recommend letting “the intended Sig/Other” read too many of ‘these’ strips … they MAY get the idea marriage _is_ an institution, and NOT want to be “institutionalized” just yet!)
After they’re so wound-up, they need to wind-down. Running around, screaming and screeching at high volume followed by story-time (and maybe a hot toddy) just might do it.

Kids are like that. What tuckers us out wires them up.
Thank you very much to everyone who offered me congratulations yesterday.

And my I add my congratulations and best wishes, greentick? Hope you have a long and happy marriage, blessed with many (well, some, anyway) rugrats!
Poor Uncle Phil. He’ll learn eventually. Maybe by the time Michael and Lizzie’s kids arrive!

You did have this energy, when you were a kid. We all did.
mroberts88 about 15 years ago

Uncle Phil isn’t giving Lizzie CPR. It looks to me like he’s tickling her belly!

Now give them back to Elly and watch her scream and fume for days!
I do this to my nephews after I load them up with candy, just before I laugh all the way home.

Yup, time to hand them back to Elly now.
