I can just picture Leslie being raised by a single Father who doesn’t have much time for him. Then hooking up with Gunther’s Mother and those two becoming step-brothers. Just a thought…..

Dirk would defend Gunther from that “less than a man”, and I am talking the old Dirk, one before going to jail

I mean my question is what the heck is Gunther eating?

Let’s be real. We all know that Greg isn’t going to let Gunther come to any physical harm.

This is quite simple. Gunther is going to be so depressed when his classmates DON’T help, and in fact egg Les on. Gunther is going to be beaten to a pulp, Les will get a slap on the wrist, and Gunther is going to be the butt of everyone’s jokes.

Welcome to high school.

Our reactions during this arc have said far more about us than about the arc, the characters or the strip. But of course that’s normally true around here. And incidentally, it just might be a sign that the strip is better than many people would give it credit for being.

I’m sorry this sucks big time. Way to long I need a Rock Star!

If his school is like mine was you could stand and let him punch you and they’d look at your face and say you’ve been fighting and punish you.

Leslie’s will to fight is being gradually whittled down by Gunther’s feigned naiveté. But tomorrow may come too soon!

Gunther will probably develop a yeast infection and have to cancel his beating thus prolonging this arc for yet another week.

I hope this story-line ends this week. I would like to read about Luann and others. This one has gone on for so long, a couple of weeks. Next week, a new story I hope.

Go on and kick his butt, already!! I’m tired of his wimpy butt, and this arc.

Ether Gunther will have staff or have someone bigger than Needlenose or both.

I’ve been a big fan of Greg Evans for a very long time, but this story line had better have a VERY satisfying ending!

Ya a bully doesn’t exactly warn their victim about what they’re gonna do to them. Gunth is okay, but he needs to man up a little.

Maybe they can get together and beat this dead horse of a storyline into oblivion so we can move on.

I just want it to get over with, this is dragging way too long. I don’t mind the wait until Thursday but lets have something in the meantime. What’s going on with mom and pop these days?

I can’t help but notice Les seems to have no friends. He has no posse following him or even one best bud. The fact that he’s drawn in a dress shirt buttoned up to the collar worries me. Please tell me he isn’t going to turn out to really be a nerd and it ends with them becoming friends. I couldn’t take him as a regular character. He did come out of no where so maybe this is his introduction.

Dude, Les, Just let it go man, this attitude is just going to get yu in trouble. Your back is going to get hurt carrying the weight of that grudge.

Let’s hope the teacher ACTUALLY step in before anyone gets hurt. I can remember back when I was a kid, the teachers at recess wouldn’t step in to stop a bully unless it was an actual fight, and even then, they would drag their feet ’cause it was interfering with their GOSSIP time.

Greg must be having comic block. Gunther is the worst character he has…..enough already!

Actually, I think that Gunther is rethinking his stratagy. I think he realizes his fellow students are not going to rise in his defense. He’ll count on the school authorities. It will be interesting to see how bullying is handled in the Luanniverse. The treatment of it in the real world has left a bad taste in my mouth.

In the real world, Gunther gets beaten up and finds his motivation to “man up”. Brains and body aren’t mutually exclusive. Oh – and Maria does the classic “you bully” thing and decks Leslie.

Leslie, uh, I mean Les, is the typical clueless troglodyte. He doesn’t see the setup coming…

um, Mordock? that’s not a Nehru jacket – the collar is not in the least bit Nehru . it’s just a simple button down shirt with a standard collar.

This arc is WAY too long. Let’s get this over with.

It does sort of look like a Nehru jacket, but I rather think it’s a shirt. Some of them look like that, you know.

More and more people keep turning up to say how boring this arc is, but I’m telling you, the artist doesn’t read the comments. He only counts the number. So, if you’re annoyed with this arc, just visit briefly and if this arc is still going, DON’T COMMENT! It’s that simple.

Cimmorene has a point. The disgruntled must be intensely interested in spite of themselves.

This story line complements an ongoing arc in “Glee” about a bully who tormented Kirk.

Hmm a Leslie Knox probation violation before the “crunch lunch” date? Soap on the floor? The mind boggles. Save our sanity Greg – please.

RIP Davey. Tomorrow is D-Day, but I fear nothing will really happen. I don’t want blood or any of that macho crap that I’ve been reading here, but I would like a decent resolution and I would like to see Rosa & Gunther finally show some fire in their relationship.

And speaking for ONE Leslie…I didn’t have any friends named ‘Brad’ or ‘Zane’ when I, Leslie, was jumping out of 130s and choppers at night for Aunt Sam in SF…but there was a Darrell… “Dare-all”…come to think of it, there were a lot of us with sister-names. Yeah, we were a sweet bunch of guys…and God how I miss some of them. My back was never so safe…and Gunther is COOL with me. The goateed kid would be in trouble. I’d keep the goatee, as a souvenir, but that kid would be gone…

Nehru jackets don’t typically have pointed collars. They usually have a mandarin collar. I think that’s just an un-tucked button down dress shirt…but I could be wrong.

I wonder if “tomorrow” will be tomorrow.

And when the dust settles, it’s just a shirt, made in China, and sold at Walmart. The collar is buttoned up because its harder to draw an open collar.

Spring football practice is fast approaching. Gunther needs to talk to the coach and join up as a stats man. He would then be a part of the team. When I played, every member of the team looked out for each other. If you messed with one then you messed with the whole team. Managers, video, and stats were included and had the same “protection” as the players.

leslie is going to walk into an audience that will go wild with laughter that gunth actually dummassed him into “scheduling” it. THEN can we please get back to something interesting?? PLEASE???
