Sounds like Wally is going to have to come to grips with his past. He probably needs to realize that who he was is not who he is.

May I just say that drawing a head from three quarters behind is one of the hardest things to do. Ears, especially. Mr Neathery, you’re very good, very good indeed.

Hi Aaron, I’ve had an idea. I really love reading Endtown since I dropped in to the Aaron and Gustine story and I still think it’s one of the best, if not the best story I’m reading. I would like to share it to everybody and most of all my friends, but they just can’t seem to be a**ed to try and read English.

Seeing that I may be your only German fan here, and that fan translations don’t seem to be so uncommon, what would you think of a German translation of Endtown? I’m not a professional, but I did have English-German/German-English translation courses for two years and I enjoy languages very much. I started with the first ten pages of Wally’s adventure today, to get a feel for it. I can send them to you, if you like (and if you feel you can make sense of the German ;) ).

Would you feature a translation of Endtown if I made one?

And in that case, would another German reader like to be the second opinion for my translations?

Love the artwork in panel 4. For the first time, I think I can actually see Wally’s human face inside the animal one. All you have to do is change the nose slightly. Beautifully done!This is Holly at her best. Love that mouse!Personally, I think this is a gret place to leave it for the weekend. It has the promise of great revelation for the new week.Hmmm, perhaps the most exhausting effort is running away from oneself.

You can run for the rest of your life but you can’t get away from you.

Wally needs to turn to the one person (alongside Holly) thatwill get him through this dilemma he’s facing…

Airolga, I think you have a good idea. Several other comics have been translated by fans. An amazing comic like Endtown should have global appeal, but I don’t know about the legalities of the project. I couldn’t do a translation, but admire those who can.

I know what it means to hide your heart from a long time ago,it keeps you running, yeah it keeps you running.-Doobie Bros.-It Keeps You Running. That rock classic is Wally’s theme.

I really feel for Wally, sometimes life can become over es. Things you didn’t say or do.whelming! All the regrets, missed opportunities. I think about what I didn’t do or say that could’ve made a difference.

What ever he was before, he’s become a cat of peace. We are all the hardest on ourselves. He needs to be home in a stable environment. He is like a soldier with ptsd.I knew a vietnam vet and even after all this time he could be triggered by things like thunder.

Poor Wally, The curse of the scratched drunk crocodile is going to be a hard one to break. – Especially if you have a past that your tormentors know about.

Holly, get Wally in a “bearhug”, and kiss his face off!You are the one with the power to save him.

Endtown: Where every hanger is a cliff one.

I think that, for Wally, the beginning of a healing time is at hand, and Holly is the Nurse. Her love, compassion and rationality, along side her strength are going to be just what he needs to release and purge whatever deamons are chasing him.
