Honestly, Lila, you are gambling here. The check might be a fraud Mommy Dearest is using to get her boy to dump you. But then again, if you turn it down, she will very likely make the pre-nup so punitive, it won’t be worth marrying him. I’m thinking the best course is keep her there unill Doc arrives and tell him what his mother’s up to.

Nice! I would have not done it for a lot less! I’ve had boyfriends mom’s like that. I guess they want their sons to marry someone from a convent. Mothers don’t really understand what their sons are actually looking for.

I never understood why that would work. If she marries him won’t she get much more then that? Its like someone finds a million dollars and someone comes along and says I’ll give you 50,000 to ignore it. JUST DUMB.
