A wife in two cities should do it next time

it’s been a while since any chick was all over Sam in this strip. Like maybe never.

This is an unfamiliar, uncomfortable, and unwanted problem for Sam! What’s up with Fritz Ann? As far as we know, she’s never seen him before, and he probably was not a big part of her research before coming to Tracytown (—easier to say than “unnamed major metropolitan city where Tracy works that may be in the Midwest; like Chicago, for instance”). Go easy on him, Lee!

I don’t know what to make of Sam’s dilemma!

I had a girl come after me and I was married. I had to quit going to the place where she works at. I heard she got fired.

Uh-oh! Two words: Sexual Harassment!

He could file an unprofessional conduct complaint against her to her superiors because he has plenty of witnesses but Sam is too much of a gentleman to do it. I am looking forward to the next time they meet.

Ugh. Poor Sam! It’ll be interesting to see how this sub-plot plays out.

Just a quick question…The FBI can’t come in and take over a jurisdiction without the local law enforcement’s request. I realize Fritz Ann is part of the Black Jack task force, but where did the force ask her in?

On Wednesday Fritz Ann touched Sam’s nose and Thursday she rubbed Shoulders with with Detective Catchem, a known tough guy one can hardly call that sexual harassment. Don’t be such a sissy and go catch the bank robber. Even if she is flirting with Sammy and they don’t focus on the bigger prize then who’s the criminal here? Jesus once said they would strain out a gnat and choke on a camel. Daaaaa!

Maybe I should put a ring on and see if women start hitting on me. On second thought, no. The kind of women who would try to score with a married man are the kind I really don’t need.

Searching the paper for an unpopular bank…hmm. They must advertise: Only open one hour a day, no drive up, ATM charges 25% usage fee. Must keep $5000 in account or you get $50 maintenance fee etc.

Poor Sam! It’s not easy being a sex god. Not that I’d know about that, sigh.

chris i’m gonna assume that the chief gave fritz ann permission…. after all she HAS been chasing bj for months apparently. maybe sam will “accidentally shoot fritz” instead of blackjack when the enevitable (sp?) shoot out comes along. mike said theres gonna be a few deaths soon so maybe pushy fritz will be a casualty :)

Love the work of the team on this strip. Clear layouts, sharp dialog and the story moves forward every day. This is not easy to do and it is a pleasure to watch Staton and Curtis work.

I wouldn’t mind Lizz or Lee hitting on me ;). But then I’m also not married as well.

I totally overlooked any “inappropriate touching” which means either I don’t pay attention to details or it’s no big deal. And I didn’t see any mention of a private briefing. One day she says, with the whole squad in the room, here’s something else I want you to see and clicks on the video. What follows for 2 days is, I guess, an interview with Blackjack. Today it looks like Sam is returning from some private conference. ???

Definitely something going on here. What is Fritz Ann’s agenda, going after Sam like that? Maybe she likes men who smoke… I dunno. But she is the Blackjack expert, as it were, so it appears she’ll be tolerated. For now, at least.

I wonder what Fritz Ann is up to — I have to think it’s more than just hitting on Sam. Maybe she’s looking for an excuse to be with Sam when, technically, she doesn’t need to be.After all, Blackjack is a crazy Dick Tracy fan and collector.And maybe he’ll want to add Tracy’s partner to his collection!(Holy 1950’s Horror Movies!)

A couple of days ago someone asked when we started reading Tracy. I first read a comic book reprint (at Grandma’s house) of the first meeting of B. O. and Gravel Gertie. Earliest newspaper story I remember was Mole, Molene, Johnny Scorn and Pouch! When is Pouch coming back?
