    To be a paid author, one has to have an article of interest to a certain publication. In 1957, my dad and I rode a freight train from Quincy, Illinois to Buffalo, NY on a drovers pass (no longer issued as RYs no longer handle livestock) Is in TRAINS magazine, Nov. 2009 p.56My only claim to being a published author.
