You mean we now have someone more depressing than Dudley? (Anybody notice that they both wear flagpoles? Is there a correlation?)

Oh, and if the planet is dying, bub, you’d be a fool to try to take it over as you were planning a while back. Unless, of course, you have a way to fix the problem, in which case you’d likely get a lot of native allies.

Nine days of record-high temperatures, low through mid-80’s F, here in Chicagoland, ending today (though it should still be above average for this date). Captain Odom is too pessimistic for an optimist like Boody!

Nah…we’re just coming out of our current cold spell a little faster than some people find comfortable.

So it’s warm here while it’s cold there. Big deal. Happens all the time.

You, sir, are a dependable source of common sense…which, unfortunately, is not all that common.

@puddleglum1066 I dunno, space aliens tend to know more about these kinds of things. Planetary decay to a space-roving alien, may seem a bit “old hat”.Besides, the strip is called MYTHtickle anyway. Enjoy the myths. :)

In health news, Dr. Mercurius reports that Lady Gaia is indisposed, suffering from a fever caused by an infection of Homo sapiens. He is hopeful that she will soon shake off the condition and make a full recovery.

when all of the glaciers and the ice on the poles have melted, and the sea level rises 3 feet its only the end of the world for everyone living in low lying areas. and the people that get inundated by the refugees. and all the coastal ecosystems that get drowned out. the earth and life on it survives. but everything changes. not all change is good.

I love, love, love today’s strip. Please tell William that uncle Jason and auntie Julie are very proud of him. And yes he is the boy genius. He was a baby genius as well, He could read better than most adults by age 4 or 5. Maybe he will be El Jefe II. =)

So true, it’s really humanity that is on the way out. Not the planet. It will still go on for billions of years (probably).

I’m not sure which is funnier, the strip or the comments. Quite enjoyable, all of you.
