Feral cats present a huge problem to bird populations…. I watched one in Hawaii…. climb and then sit in a tree for hours waiting for dinner to fly in….

Where I live the cats are free if your on government assistance, but only certain days of the month. Granted you’ll have to wait in line up to 2hours to drop off, then another 2 hours to pick up. Otherwise its $65 or so…as a result those that can get reduced or free fixin, don’t usually do it due to the long wait time and those that can pay don’t have time to wait in line, they have jobs to be too.
Going to a regular vet your looking at $200.00 give or take, seems the system encourages people to not fix their pets because of the setup here.
