Pooch Cafe by Paul Gilligan for April 17, 2012
Transcript:
Dog: Is he back now? Is he back now? Is he back now? Poncho: Dude, calm down, your master is gonna come back for you. But then, maybe not. Poncho: It was last summer, a night just like tonight. A dog was left tied up to a parking meter while his master went into the store. Poncho: He waited and waited, but his master never returned! And do you know how I know? Dog: H-h-h- How? Dog: Ahhhh!

Not funny, Poncho…stop tormenting that poor dog, and save your abuse for Carmen.

Heartless and cruel…That’s our Poncho.

I wonder how long (and exactly where) Poncho has been carrying his fake skeleton around in the hopes of having the chance to use it. Well worth the trouble, though.

Fabulous expressions on Poncho’s ‘victim.’ The last panel nearly made me spew coffee all over my monitor. Man, I love this strip!

Dog campfire stories!

He’ll have to take this dog to the dog whisperer to get him unterrified. Poncho’s real good. Not only does he send humans to the funny farm, but he wreaks havoc on his own species as well.

Poncho’s just preparing him for the worst-case scenario.

@ratdogbert – Everywhere I’ve lived (granted, not a vast sample), dual meters consist of two meters on a single pole.(not that anyone’s reading comments here, the day after the strip was posted, but I’m always late to the game)
