I’m going with DREAM sequence, no way does Baldo do it that smoothly

I just noticed for the first time that the gocomics “About Baldo” blurb to the right says that “Baldo lives with his parents…” Don’t they read their own comic strips?

They use this style, I think, to show the characters as they see themselves. It’s seldom used, which makes it very effective.

Like with Tia and the con men, people, what ever they tried to con her.

He is cute drawn this way.

Can’t wait to see if it’s fantasy or real (well, as real as a cartoon can get).

I like when he does this…somehow, her hairstyle doesn’t work with this drawing style. It’s cuter in the other version and so is she.

Lives with his parents? I have only ever seen his father and grandmother.

Tia Carmen isn’t Baldo’s grandmother, she’s his great-aunt (Sergio’s aunt).

SCAATY: “But those little bat-wing pigtails look silly in any drawing style. Just saying.”

It’s a question of taste. Actually, it’s a question of fashion, which is even less explicable. Personally, I think they’re adorable. But either way, it’s only hair…
