My 70 something year old female neighbor dug her own pond in the hard Georgia clay. She also suffered from fibromyalgia. She dug what she could each day, and it took a long time, but it got done (and looked great!). She is still one of my heroes.My point is that he doesn’t have to do it all in one day. No pond is worth that, and Liv does not seem the type to want to get rid of Ben.

We tried to dig our own pond, but it started filling with water the second day. Darned hard to shovel water! We had to rent a backhoe.
