Cap’n, that’s what I stopped by to ask. This looks like the current crew, all back together…but I haven’t seen Bucky in a very long time.MsHefler… I don’t think so, cos it looks like he still only has a two-gallon capacity.I thought hardware was getting cheaper… The name Bucky 3 implies a bigger bucket…. but it’s still the same size. It’s just like “4G”….not really an all new standard, just a term that means whatever they use it to mean.
Bucky 3 is a cloud-based, responsive themed robot that allows end users access through an API browser portal or with mobile device apps.To retain intuitive familiarity for the user, the UI has been designed to look exactly like a bucket on a coat rack.
Thanks Digital Frog — that’s what I was going to say, till I got to your comment.Joe Friday, 3G phone doesn’t refer to processor speed or storage space. and Big_Tex, NO phone gets service as fast as 3 gigabits/second.The 3G standard is about as fast as basic DSL,about two MEGAbits, nowhere near ONE gigabit, per second. My comment referred to the fact that phones advertised as 4G don’t come even close to what was meant to be the next generation standard of 1 Mb per sec.“4G” has since been accepted as an advertising term, meaning “we think it’s better than 3G but it’s not technically 4G yet”…. the same way Bucky 3 means “better than Bucky 1 but don’t ask me why.”

@Big_Tex/Joe Friday – Actually, in the case of phones, the 3G/4G stands for 3rd Generation/4th Generation transmission system.

And here I was, just hoping that somehow, Bucky would rejoin us about now. By any other model number, he’s good to have around.

Bucky 4 will have an extra set of arms.
