That’s Jay Leno in Panel 2 working the crowd. Giant head though.

So who phoned Tracy and why??

Tip for all you kids - if you steal a priceless artifact from your parents and sell it on the street, you can distract your parents by announcing you’ve joined a rock band! Make it a “Boy Band” and it’ll be months before they remember the theft!

You forget this is “recap” Monday? And Locher liked last week’s script so much, I suspect he’s going to “repeat” it all of this week. He’ll pick up the telephone call again on Wednesday (3rd panel) but we won’t be any wiser, as he’ll move on to other items

Effectively, as Professor Grokstein once counseled us ,,, Locher’s “easy going” style - is to release only one, “tit-bit” of progress each week. Meaning, we’ll have only a smidgen of “forward” movement and it’s “elswhere”!

Come back NEXT week Monday, to see the continuation of the Wrist Geenee “call”. I know ! It’s all so frustrating. (but Writer Dicky must “like it so”)

Another poster made the “point” last week, forward movement occurs only Tuesday to Saturday in Locher’s world.

I’ve had a sharp little foray about Dick Tracy on Locher’s Editorial Cartoon Board with some others commenting. Some even “defending” (ie. “we love you Dick”)

I’ve gone there a few times to “catch his eye”, as I know he avoids the “comments” here, but is an avid reader over there !

I don’t listen to rock but does some rock bands start from orchestra’s music? There maybe some I guess who just starts rock.

He needs to bring Della Contessa home to meet his parents. Then he needs to ‘splain it to Pops that he had to sell the Strad in order to feed Della. And think how happy and proud Pops will be when they annonuce together that he is going to be a grandfather! They’ll name it after Marilyn Manson, no matter what gender it is.

… and they all lived happily thereafter.
