I haven’t held a violin since I was a kid, but I can’t recall holding one in the palm of my hand.

Twas the day before Christmas and on the Gocomics page The father beat his son, he was still in a rage Channeling B.C. he said as he gave him a zot “Let that be a lesson to you, you ungrateful little snot” The ukulele was nestled safely in Kojacks keep 2 million for a puzzle piece, that’s pretty steep Why sonny sold it so cheap we may never know I just had a thought, did it come with a bow? Will the coming story be one in which we can delight Or will we be subjected to another terrible blight. Thank you MM.

The concert master & son are wearing clothing made of “unstatble molecules” courtesy of Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. Yeah, that explains how the kid changed clothes without doing so.

Didn’t you know? ‘Zot’ is the sound that the fist of a guy in the throes of an Oedipal rage makes when it strikes his father’s chin.

VistaBill’s observation is especially interesting in view of the fact that, judging from the size of the character’s right hand, he’s a survivor of the notorious hand-shrinking tribe of the Amazon.

“Telly Savalas” in “Reed Richards” clothing. That’s a good one !

Let me say right out that I like the new villain design by Locher. It’s a far cry from “Jack” and that “fake” design of “Mr.Pops” - just a Clown face. So the only designs that count this year are “Angelorious” and this till nameless bald fellow.

And I guess I can be forgiven for thinking for a moment that Gould’s ”3-D Magee” (1953) out of prison is back having moved up from using killer Peruvian Ants to a higher calling like classical music, with “cash” still there and an ear for an “air” but no hair.

That’s 3-D as the avatar on the left. But no! While there is a likeness, it IS* a Locher “original”. Pity he has ballooned so much in size since introduction * A sort of Violin case in the waist and even the face.

Heck! I’m getting worse than Locher with these silly “puns”. Perhaps it’s catching (?)

Speaking of Mumbles, Boss Kojak’s henchman with the clenched fist there looks somewhat like him…

And before I forget, a very Merry Christmas to everyone here!

First off, of course, Merry Christmas to all. I’m sure there will be a traditional panel depicting Tracy with friends and family gathered together in tomorrow’s offering. I am also sure the Titanic is gonna bob to the surface.

And now, is Mumbles back? Sure looks like it.

    And finally.

    12-10 Panel 2. The villian’s dialogue:

    “A genuine Strad.”

“It’s the first step in our plan.”

But today we hear that it’s “the final piece of the puzzle.” HUH????

2 short weeks and DL has already lost the alleged plot thread.

prrdh makes a good point on the Amazon “hand-shrinking” tribe.

It immediately brought to mind “Nah Tay” from Ecuador in Gould’s (1965) Bribery episode. His speciality was bizarre “head-shrinking” for Mr.Bribery’s “foe” collection

Far fetched perhaps, but could that have been an influence on those “hands” by Dick Locher ?

And you have to ponder is colossus’ head, so “big” or is the Violin, oh so “small” (?)

    fishbulb,

Locher hasn’t really lost anything. It’s a new uphill task each morning, “making it up” as he goes along. Perhaps a tad of memory slippage on what he wrote yesterday. He’s driving a 1929 auto.Time to trade it in.

But then, perhaps I’m really saying the same thing

    Yes Marge !

Thanks for your prompt kindness. At first blush it looks so simple, yet with my failing grades in all things computer, I hope I find a way to action it.

Thanks again, and Merry Christmas !

I can see tomorrow’s strip now… it’ll be a one-panel strip with “Merry Christmas” on a large banner. The Tracy family will be there as well as B.O. Plenty and Gravel Gertie… but will the Pig on Wheels be there? What about Della Contessa, and don’t forget FBI Agent Ennen who contributed so much to helping solve the Louise Trapeze murder. I hope someone thought to feed the tiger!

    Anyhow, Merry Christmas everyone!

WHAT THE HECK ! NO UPDATE? AND MARGE’S “PIG ON WHEELS” EDITED OUT ?

But there it is UPDATED over at “GomicStripNation - great shot of the new Villain and a panel of Dick and Tess inside a Wreath for Christmas.

The “text” adds from the crew. In years past this would have included the HQ staff, Patton, Sam, Lizz, Junior and spouses. But today aside from Lizz they are all dispersed or gone and NO one knows why.
