I don’t think she’ll fit.

You know Cathy, I think I’m going to take your advice on this one. The man at my house has done the same thing and then asked for a $200 drill. Um…no.

I like that shawl, purse and glove set. Where can I get one in blue?

What DO you buy for a man who has it all? Something for yourself! Especially something he’d never buy you!

Usually I disapprove of what the saleslady(ladies) persuade Cathy to do, but this time I think she gave good advice, for a good reason.
And yes, I too love that outfit! And it looks really good on Cathy, which is more than you can say about a lot (most!) of her outfits.
I wonder where it’s on sale?

I bought myself a book I’ve been wanting for a long time as a little “survived the semester” present, but first I told my entire family that I was buying it to make sure there was no conflict. My Barnes and Noble wish list has hundreds of entries, so it wasn’t a problem!

Notinks – I recommend the public library! It’s much cheaper than B&N.

Sounds good to me! And just say, see what you got me? ;)

The nice thing about buying a book is it’s right there if you want to re-read it. I sometimes use the library to “try out” books by authors I haven’t read before or to borrow books that I like but not well enough to re-read.

Yeah, my library has nothing. I waited 6 months to get a book I wanted through inter-library loan and due to a mix-up and problems with library budgeting, I only get it for two weeks, no renewals. I looked it over and ended up buying it tonight. Hubby won’t buy me anything so I will buy something for myself! After the juicer which left me in tears our first Christmas (it was an expensive piece of bleeep that broke after the first use, as did the replacement), he doesn’t even try. I don’t care anymore.

I buy my xmas gift ( a North face coat this year, last year a nice piece of jewelery) & put it under the tree, from my husband to me. I act very excited when I open it. My sisters’s in law congatulated their brother ( my husband) on his excellent taste. My Mom taught me that trick after she received an expensive ( non returnable) orange bathrobe from my dad.
