These guys are playing badminton? I have not seen that played anywhere in more like forty years and this strip is only about thirty years old. Maybe Canada was a little later in dropping it from the home sports catalogue than the US.

Come on, Ellie. Do you actually want Lizzie to be hit with a tennis racket?

Um, yes. I’ve always insisted that my kids get along and they now rarely fight. I hope they’ll always be best friends because my sister and I still don’t get along to this day, and I think that’s a shame.

Maybe Elly can grab a box of sidewalk chalk and take Lizzie to the front yard and have some fun..just keep an eye on her.

My sister was 10 when I was 3 and she had to bring me to the park to play. Imagine that Michael!

Grew up playing Badminton in the back yard also, biggest problem was getting the cat to leave the “Bird” alone!!

My sister and I were playing badminton in our backyard in the late ’70s / early ’80s when we were tweens and teens.
