Good Morning, all you Vagabonds. Uncle Floyd is back, though he is walking on tip-toe. Don’t have my virus protection, sooo… I have to be careful where I go, so I have toget some anti-virus before I go tripping around.

Nice to hear from you Slim. Doesn’t your provider include virus protection?

On another note, I just finished reading a 336 page book that I began reading on Saturday: “The Valiant Lady,” by Brigid Knight (printed in 1948) about several generations of a Dutch family who lived in the 16th century when the Dutch were fighting for their independence against Spain and beginning to explore the world. Whenever I finish reading a large book I have a funny feeling like “What am I gonna do now?”

Sorry to take up so many comment bars: Because I read the AzCentral Comics as soon as they come out and then wait an hour or so to read and comment on GoComics, it affects my sleep at night and forces me to take naps during the day.

Tonight I decided NOT to read AzCentral Comics at midnight or be the first to comment on “FoxTrot en Espanol” so I could get a good night’s sleep (in the daytime I’m going on a free 3-hour bustrip-lecture of the Bronx, so I wanted to be alert). So, after finishing reading the above-described book, I decided to sleep through the night, past the debut of AzCentral and GoComics. Wouldn’t you know: I woke up at 2:30 AM and realized if I don’t read the comics now I’ll be loaded down reading a huge amount of comments to the comics if I read them later in the day, so here goes at 4:26 AM est.

Slim, I use AVG Free and it works well for me. I also use two different anti-spyware programs, and between the three my system is pretty clean. I haven’t had a problem in a very long time. (Knock wood)

I use SUPERAntiSpyware (http://www.superantispyware.com/) and Spybot-search & destroy (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html) I was told by our tech guy that using two different programs works best because no one of them finds everything. Both are free and work well.
