Happens to me all the time. Once, when I had the flu, my mind was stuck on Cher’s “Dark Lady”. Drove me frickin’ nuts.

I don’t recognize any of those songs. But dang, I’ll bet any of them is better than Yankee Doodle.

Try picking another song, one you at least sort of like, and singing that in your head. It usually drives out the earworm.

Hello all. For me I would have tunes pop in my head. One time two different tunes played. I thought get rid of it sing to it. Tunes played better than I could sing. Makes bad for trying to sleep.

@DRY I read comments almost every day! Sometimes they help with my creative process. Speaking of my process, you can go on YouTube and watch me create the strip running here today. I am thinking through the rough sketch, while drawing. The final gag is different in the footage, “Crunchy” is singing the song, “I’m Every Woman” outloud while arresting the suspect. It occurred to me that having the suspect speak in the final frame was funnier. Go on YouTube, type in my name and check it out!

That’s really cute today. Robb, you really know how to set up a good one.By the way, if you REALLY want something to stick in your head, let your daughter drag you into whapping a tambourine and dinging a triangle in an amateur band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91g0rDMQbag
