If the cartoonist was “balanced”, tomorrow would be “When conservatives get trapped, we escape by blaming it all on liberals.”
But then there would have to be a series where all political paths were trodden and their failings brought to light…. It would be a never ending series. Too much material for all parties and perspectives to be concisely condensed into a three panel perspective.
Republicants can’t stand the idea that government can do some things better than their rich friends without making a huge profit. Anybody remember the last CEO nincompoop who ran the country into ECONOMEGEDDON?
When was the last time racism was an issue? The only racism I’ve seen is against whites- it’s nearly impossible for me or my dad to get a decent job, simply because minorities are given a priority over us. If our minority competitors are more suited for the job, then of course they should get it, but race should almost never be a reason for hiring one person over another..If you or anyone else can tell me some instances where your claim is valid, then I’d love to hear them. But I doubt you could even come up with three that would satisfy me..On a side note, I hate politics. It’s gets me way too frustrated that you think I’m just as much of an idiot as I think you are.
The profit IS seen on both sides- Let’s say I’m buying an ice cream. It costs two dollars. In my mind, the ice cream is worth two dollars, or even more, or else I wouldn’t buy it. Therefore, when the transaction is complete, I am left with more than I started with, in my mind, which means I made a profitable exchange..The ice cream company is also making a profit. In their mind, the ice cream is worth less than two dollars, and thus I am giving them more than they are giving me. The relationship benefits both parties..The top 1% are undoubtedly making the most profit. That’s why they’re in the top 1%. But they’re also paying at least 95% of all the taxes in the U.S. every year. (I’m pretty sure it’s actually 99%, but I’m not positive, so I’m scaling the number down a bit.).One more thing- the ice cream example was an example of an elastic, unnecessary product. When you’re considering an inelastic, necessary product like gasoline, the rule still generally applies. People may begin to pay more than they think the gas is worth, but if the price gets too high, they will find other means of getting to work/school/etc. and they will be back to breaking even..Also, oil companies have been making some of the lowest profits percentage-wise out of all American businesses lately. They’re really trying to help us out, but nobody seems to notice.
Are liberals required to take jerk pills? I was attempting to bring about a (somewhat) peaceful political discussion but apparently that’s not going to happen..Here’s the thing. You think I’m incredibly stupid. I think you’re incredibly stupid. How that’s supposed to make sense, I don’t have any idea.

This is what passes for conservative humor. It’s a slow movement of slow people.

And to think, conservatives think of themselves as the “adults” in the room.

By hour 127, he’ll have gnawed his foot off. And then his tail, just because he liked the taste.

And when conservatives get trapped they use a special maneuver called “Blame the Democrats”.

Sometimes racism is called for a valid reason. And it is also called invalidly quite often.

It seems to me that the only people who make race an issue are “open minded liberals” like Elizabeth “1/32 Cherokee” Warren.
