Regarding deer ticks and Lyme disease, we’re very lucky here in Northern California, in that our fence lizards have a protein in their blood which kills the bacteria that causes Lyme disease. A tick that sucks the blood of a fence lizard will be cleansed of Lyme disease.

I am glad some of you enjoyed the Mother’s Day video. I cannot take credit for it (other than providing the link to Vlad to try to cheer him up) as it was produced by one of my employee’s for Mothers’ Day last year. Evidently he and his sons are working on another project this year but missed the deadline. If it is anywhere near as good as this one, I will Vlad know so he can share it with everyone.

Put me down as another who enjoyed the video! Bravo!
