Hmmm… Yesterday Tracy and the team we’re viewing the crooks on a big monitor. Today, both the Chief and the MCU are seeing it via wrist genies. A bit inconsistent. I suspect it’s because the Sundays and dailies aren’t drawn sequentially. Still, I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Wow, my first time in the Top 10! Insomnia does have its uses. We’re building up to the major confrontation/fight sequence between the MCS and the villians. Mike gave me an advance peak at the pencils for a Sunday strip covering that (and from what Mike has told me that is only part of the sequence) and Tracy fans as they say, “You ain’t seen nothing yet.” You’re going to love what’s coming up.
Next week Mike is coming to visit me for a week. The major event of the trip is we’ll be spending 3 days in Yellowstone National Park. I promise to get between Mike and any hungry grizzlies, ravenous wolves, prowling mountain lions, stampeding buffalo and rampaging elk. Can’t afford to lose our Tracy scribe, not when he turns out such great tales!
Tracy’s visage is unusually expressive as he recognizes that “this is MAJOR.” Is Ltn. Teevo the best cop money can buy, or does Mr. Crime own somebody even higher up? This is major for us fans, too!
So Little Face has to romance Kassie Ette. But since he’s a double agent, he doesn’t want her terminated at the end, so there might be a genuine relationship – assuming both survive the inevitable catharsis.
This is, without a doubt, one cool Dick Tracy story! Now, for some technical stuff – are they viewing this scene on their new wrist genies, even though the image is being sent to them from Little Face’s old style wrist t.v. device? And, if it is coming to them from the device on Little Face’s wrist, how is he himself in the scene as they see it in panel one? Also, who is the person in the lower right corner of panel 1 with the wavy hair – it almost looks like Little Face, but he is not there, he is in Panda’s HQ receiving instructions.Sorry I find this confusing this morning ,but I am sure some of my fellow DT fans will be able to clarify it for me!
tsull2121I’m beginning to think you’re right – considering how complex this whole Mr. Crime story is, Lt. Teevo is too obvious to be the mole.So I’m back to my theory about the “mole” being the wrist wizards. Abner Kadaver must have kept the one he took from Tracy, and Mr. Crime was able to get someone to explain it’s secrets.Someone like – Lt. Teevo! No, wait a minute… Uh…Awright, I haven’t a clue – or I have too many clues.Mike Curtis is the Agatha Christie of comic strips.
HEY ALL! I just remembered it is this man’sSPECIAL day today, so I thought I would gather all of the Peanut gallerytogether as well as some magpiesto wish him aHAPPY BIRTHDAY DICK LOCHER!No bashing please. Remember, Mr. Locher kept the strip alive for many, many, MANY, years. You might not be reading this today if it wasn’t for him. So, as Thumper and his mom always say, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nut’n at all!”

Good Mornin’, Folks.
Nice to see that the Tracy Detective Agency isn’t skimping on its tech budget… We’re definitely, as Tracy says, on the cusp of something “major.”

DT is great again and I’m really happy about it. All the bad guys together, a whole lot of plot, Leonard Finny! Dig it.

I wonder if the good mole ratted out the bad mole. Or if Little Face even knows who Lt. Teevo is?

This isn’t likely to end well for Little Face, that’s for sure.

I’m just glad I can enjoy this wonderful strip, even while I was on vacation. Home sweet home now, and ready for more “major” Tracy action.
