Caulfield: Did it work? Are you cured?
Mrs. Olsen: That's for hiccups! It doesn't work on hay fever!
Caulfield: Even experiments that fail can be rewarding.
Frazz: Now you're thinking like a scientist.

The “experiement” didn’t fail. It accomplished exactly what Caulfield expected.

There is no such thing as failure, there is only information.

I have a feeling that Caulfield doesn’t really consider this a failure.

You can get horns like that and mount them under your car. Google “train horn pranks”.

Whether Caulfield knew what he was doing or was just trying to be helpful, what he did was cruel, and detention at the lease would seem appropriate.

I think I’m unsubscribing from this strip. Caufield is just turning into a wise ass jerk, and it’s just getting mean spirited towards teachers.
