Little Face! Wearing Jack Paar’s sport coat from 1958! Johnny can look 1973 better than anyone in comics. DT, however, remains grim and gritty 1940’s. If this strip gets any better my computer might explode.
They’re not at the police station, are they? If so, Panda would be listening to this….no, wait a minute, Little Face would know about the mole. Help me out, here- where are they?
I love how Little Face casually throws off, “We’re all in the same gang.”(So much for staying out of trouble.)I have to admit, I’d loved to have seen a group reaction shot to that bit of news – or that there’s a new Mr. Crime! Maybe we’ll get one when he tells them about the spy cams!
Little Face was about to seek advice and help from the Tracy Agency and just happened to stumble into the MCU “off-campus” meeting, where he is now singing like a canary, a canary that wants to be a freebird!
dick is being awfully dismissive dont you think? look how he is almost shoving little face out of th eroom. and johnny (MY MAN!! lol) is looking rather tom selleck-ish!
I think Little Face is going to need some protection. For those who have questions about what’s going on (where are they, is LF going soft, etc) the answers can be found by looking at the strips from the past week or so of strips. You can find them by using the calendar and arrows above the strip.
i may have missed it, but exactly what was the point with b.o. and gertie visiting hq? are they involved in the storyline somehow or was it more of a “tip of the hat” from the creative team on their one year anniversary? i’d LOVE to see b.o. and gertie bring their neice B.U. Tiffil and maybe PERFUME PLENTY back to the strip.. that would be awesome! the last time i think i saw perfume was when she was stuck at the top of a ferris wheel with the town mayor who had just died from a heart attack
This strip is moving now! I missed Sun and Mon (library closed) and had to click backwards to get the continuity.Alley Oop? The missed two days were no problem.
……in the real world, the case would now be closed for all practical purposes…..Littleface’s statements would allow Tracy to get arrest warrants – and convictions – for the whole gang…..after he first led them to their hideout. So it’s time to remind ourselves this IS a comic strip, and simply enjoy the rest of the ride……
I usually try not to pick on the colorist for the daily strips, but – how did Tracy’s tie turn from traditional red to green in just the space of two panels? Come on now, Tracy’s tie has been red with black stripes for as long as anyone can remember.
It might be a trick. Panda wouldn’t need to have the bug at Police HQ in this case. A good twist, because while I can see Little Face’s motive to sing to Tracy, he is taking a risk like no other. If the mole is in that room, he may not know who it is. Of course, he probably had no way to refuse Panda’s invitation to join Mr. Crime’s gang. Still hoping this at least gets too close to Wendy Wichel for comfort!!

I don’t believe this. Why would this guy turn on his gang? Is it part of the plan? Or is he soft? He might need to be fitted for some concrete shoes.
