Mouse: THREE TREATS/1 YOU DROVE ME NINETY FEET!!!
Mouse: I'll pay you two treats!!
Jonas; you'll pay me three tre-
GP: Out
Charley: wait. how's we get the third out?
CC: a dispute over car fare.
Day after day, all I see from you are negative comments. Do you ever have anything nice to say? And, your comment yesterday re: Louie was mean-spirited and nasty. Louie is a cartoon character. What you said wasn’t hurtful to a fictional character, but was hurtful to the many dog lovers who are fans of this strip; many, like myself who have had to make the heart-wrenching decision to euthanize a beloved pet when illness or injury cause too much pain and suffering with no end in sight. It is, by no means, an easy decision, and weighs very heavily on the person making it.
Good Morning Crew,Well spoken today crew, I think tomorrow you will see Raymond and Louie our beloved ship dogs, in all there glory.Have a GREAT DAY MATIE’S
when chip first wrote them in the strip , no one could understand what the meeses,i mean mice were saying. if you remember henry killed one and jonas challenged him to a duel
I have been reading Overboard since I signed on here as a pro from my first day, the title drew me in because I was curious as I LOVED the Kurt Russell/Goldie Hawn movie by the same title and wanted to see what this was about. It never appeared in the newspapers I subscribed to. I went back through the archives and made my own printed collection, also have 2 of the books. I LOVE THIS STRIP! That being said, I do miss some of the “old” gags, CHIP but you will never lose me as a fan! :-D
I still would like to see ELLIE and her crush on HENRY played out once in awhile!
As long as you can keep it light gmartin. Wasn’t it Jinx who said “I hate meeses to pieces?” That was a character. If you are playing a part, okay, but don’t over-do it.

i don’t have a problem wit people playing “devil’s advocate” when it comes to the mice on the ship. as long as its done in fun, as a jest.

As I’ve said before, this strip was much funnier before it became infested with talking animals.

Personally, i don’t mind the mice, although I’d like to see more of Louie, Raymond, and the crew.
I guess there’s no pleasing everyone, though.
Happy Friday, Crew.
