What she should have done was tell Alex that she wants to think about it and get back with her at the end of the day. She should have slowly packed during that time. And at the end of the day, tell Alex her decision, then leave. Or just leave with her box and call in the next day.

She should give the box to one of the guards to carry for her, let them be actually useful!

Makes ya wonder what kind of office she worked in in the first place. That much security or were they hired KNOWING what would happen with ALL the downsizing. Protecting the assets if someone went “postal” the security team looks more “postal” then the workers.

Any wonder why the company is having financial problems. Fire the workers and hire more security at mininmum wage.
