He ain’t heavy, he’s my monosyllabic brother.

Steve has become a Hulk. Darn those (whatever it was that made the Hulk the Hulk).

No sign yet of a father in the Boone home. Are Gil and Mimi the only residents of Milford who aren’t divorced?

Divorced ? For that you have to get married.

I like how they keep their distance from Steve at the dinner table, he must have the touchy feely disease.

Sounds like Steve is not going to go out for football, deciding to be the mascot for the competitive cheer team instead.

Notice how the bowls and pots are out of reach for Steve (Mongo) at the table. Much like Alex Karras’ character in “Blazing Saddles”, mom has to monitor his bean consumption.

Don’t ask difficult questions to a man when he’s eating. He is in training for Joey Chestnut. Gil’s thinking a Competitive Eating Team may be the way back to a championship, and Steve is a new asst.- coach- in- training. He can sing the Milford fight song with 6 hot-dogs in his mouth.

We don’t see him much but Mom is always mending his shirts and slacks.

Mom backs slowly away as she realizes she inadvertently left a knife within reach of the big ape…

My guess is Steve is a victim of concussions received while he played for Milford.

Maybe Steve is suffering from complications following his steroid use while at Milford.

The Thorp’s will never get divorced. Mimi likes her job too much to ever leave Gil.

In reference to Bagbalm about being married, do you mean Gil and Mimi? I remember years ago on the late night sports they actually showed the comic clip of Gil and Mimi getting married. I thought that was kinda neat.

How is it that Gil didn’t realize the younger Boone wasn’t big enough to play tackle? No wonder Milford never makes it deep into the playdowns.

After yesterday, is no on else going to go with the “How’s your big, bulky brother” (if you know what I mean)?
