@VarnesTo take up the challenge; “You see on the left a perfect example of the cynical American voter observing a Fox field reporter interviewing a campaign spin doctor.”
Please excuse my ignorance; but if I don’t ask, I’ll never know for sure. Who or what course of action would designate a reader/commentator as a TROLL? I came over from Calvin & Hobbes. This strip has a lot more diversification than C&H will ever have.
I’m still curious about all the people who gave away their life’s possessions the last time the rapture was supposed to come. Methinks it would be hard to begin again while trying to explain how you ended up with no job, no money, no collateral . . . I don’t see employers and loan officers looking favorably upon the rapture explanation.
I would love to have a poster of this one. It’s priceless Wiley !Re: Trolls They are only successful if we take the bait. And yes, I’ve been forced to make a snarky response to certain troll-like commentators, once-in-a-while. The really outre ones should be ignored. They should be allowed to rant without response but… sometimes it’s either too easy or too infuriating not to respond.

Or the day after tomorrow, or soon, or, well, rapture around the corner?

Hey, sooner or later one of those guys is gonna be right and the world IS gonna end – THEN you’ll all be sorry you didn’t listen!
Not that it would matter then, of course…

For the world, tomorrow never comes. From the world’s perspective, tomorrow can’t come soon enough for us humans.

For as long as I have enjoyed this comic strip, this might be one of my all-time favorite ones. I love the sunglasses on the squirrel!

Trusted, yeah, I should stop doing that. I mean it as an inside snerk, but I do worry about that….

Like the “blind hog” saying it is based on, it makes no sense. Pigs and squirrels both hunt by scent, not sight.
