Michael, you and Lizzie are, but your Mom isn’t.

Am I the only one who noticed the admission price?

A friend of mine had four boys, aged 10, 8, 5, and 3. (Two from his wife’s first marriage and two of his own.) They took the kids to an amusement park. When he got home, he took a stiff drink, called up his dad, and said, “I’m sorry for everything I ever did to you.”

It’ll be a day they all remember and that’s all that matters.

Grandchildren are the revenge grandparents have on the parents for when the parents were kids. – paraphrasing Bill Cosby.

Yes, this must have taken place in the 80s. The admission price is so low. It costs $90 a carload for some amusement parks nowadays. I have fond memories of taking our kids to an amusement park. It featured a Mother Goose place where kids could see the Nursery Rhymes come to life. It was so serene.

@underwriter, when my boys were little, my mother-in-law said she owed me an apology.. She said all those years that she said “I hope you have kids just like you!” she never gave any thought to the MOTHER of those kids.

On the other hand, when MY mother said she hoped I’d have kids just like me, she meant it as a blessing :D

Sounds like my three grandsons at the miniature golf course. All they do is complain, bother each other and aggravate me. When it FINALLY is time to leave – they all say "this was fun, let’s come back next week.

Parents sure know how to suck the fun right out of a kid’s good time, don’t they?! ;-)
