I have to say that Dakota’s hair looks absolutely stunning, a gorgeous waterfall of cascading tresses. I sure hope Marigold is taking her to a salon, because I’m not sure Mom’s going to take the new ’do in stride.

I hope they’re not going to be friends. Phoebe needs a nemesis, like Superman and Lex Luthor, or Seinfeld and Newman.

One word (and Sweet Luna I hate to use it, but it’ll probably be the best descriptor of their relationship from here on): “Frienemies”.

Because of Dakota’s high status, I predict Phoebe will become her slightly awkward secret friend.

Yet once again good ole American know WHO rescues the deserving from the swamp of outcasts...Well its better than the one-up-manship of Phe’s original show & tell plot. She won’t have to buy her way into favor as often.

It wouldn’t be bad to do Dakota a lot like Susie from Calvin and Hobbes, I don’t think.

But her butt COULD be stupid. How many of our central nervous system’s decisions are made in the butt?

Come to think of it, yesterday the new strip didn’t come up until around midday. Guess it’s been a growing problem.

8:30 PM EDT. Boy, the internet hasn’t totally beaten print. I guess we should be happy that we’ll get 2 HNs in one days’ time.

I just hope my day of re-loads testifies to the appreciation of the strip.

I hope they get the bugs fixed soon; your strip has become one of my favorites. :)

Chill guys, it’s only been one day. :) I hope it’s up tomorrow, but if not, the more we get in a single day (I think).

Thanks for keeping us informed, Dana. I’ve been reading the strip from day 1 and it’s been a bright spot of my day ever since.

I’m used to hitting the “Back” button since I don’t get to read the comics on a daily basis.

Let’s hope the new server is worth the wait.

Yeah, there are several other reliable strips that seem to have gone hors de combat.

But this is the one that I noticed. Just saying’.

Though it would seem logical, somehow I doubt that Dakota will henceforth start calling Phoebe “Princess Smart***.”
