Tracy’s right arm is small and deformed, and his head, in profile, looks like it was copy-pasted from a different pic of him in full profile. That is to say, it doesn’t fit the position of his body.

Quite right Flight Suit. Also Tracy’s right arm is way to short from shoulder to elbow.

So Phil calls the police to report a missing person who stole his violin, and now the police know about the assault and want Tracy to look into it? Am I following this correctly?

I wish, just for once, that the kid would be drawn the same. If it was not for the horrible wind swept hair you would not recognize him

Tracy now heads up the Minor Crime Squad.

The art continues to be such an atrocity…that picture of Tess looks like a pre-schooler drew it! C’mon now, I really don’t see how the editors at TMS can let this pap continue!

Everything about it is just sooooo wrong!

Best laugh of the day, Marg! I can forgive a kid who steals my 10 million dollar violin and even punches me. But that split infinitive in the last panel was just way out of line.

If the police are going to look good (panel 2) and the group is going to look good (panel 3) they’ll have to get a new artist.

I thought Tracy’s job was to solve crimes, not make the department “look good”. And what happened to Tess? It looks like someone broke her back, causing her head to balloon up!

Human Anatomy has never been a Locher strength . Some years ago his awakwardly humerous drawing of a human running would give a “laugh”

Panel 2: Tracy’s right elbow should reach down to the waist,, too short. Oddly the hand size seems normal (Brozman?) Then plenty hurley-burley to put on the coat but heck ! It’s “snowing” heavily outside - where’s the HAT ?

Panel 1: Why must they draw Tess with a straight waist and those “hangy dog” boobs everytime ? Keep her looking young, vivacious and attractive. Locher needs to go out more often to see these things.

The art is bad, the story is poor and the only “wind” blowing the sails is “tradition” and the majic of the name Dick Tracy.

I think it’s time we named the kid’s new rock band. How about “The Flying Scarfs”?

“a high profile case that will make the police look good”??? I guess that explains the lack of minority characters in this strip, they just don’t make for good press.

For kids who get in trouble depends on how they push it. I work pt at a place where boys have come from being locked up. Where I am they go for group treatment there is a duration stay also they can go for JRT training; although doesn’t guarentee a job. When kids get where I work at some take off become AWOL others stay maybe because they too also went AWOL and know whats in store. Parents do get frustrated with their kids.

The artwork today is just atrocious. Panel 1 - Tess looks terrible. Panel 2 - What can I say. Tracy is freakishly out of proportion. Panel 3 - The dude is snorting his cell phone talking to Bruce Wayne.

Just plain sad.
