I don’t know what you got in there, but I’ll give you $3 for the briefcase.

Why is there the word “Ralph” in a rounded-rectangle in the lower left corner of the first panel?

I had no idea the Drabbles lived in Las Vegas!

Pawn Stars = Rip offs. An item will be appraised at $5.000 and the most they will offer is $1.000 I would never sell to a pawn shop.

Actually there was an episode where a woman came in with a Tiffany spider and wanted $2,000 for it. They said they’d like to, but it was worth more than that and didn’t want to cheat the customer. They brought in an appraiser who said it was worth $12,000. The customer, who wanted only $2,000 wanted $12,000. They could’ve said nothing and gotten it for a song.

The Toy Collector is far worse. He whined when he didn’t get to buy model kits for $10 each, because the customer wanted to see what they were worth before selling.

Looks like a scene for one of them reality shows about pawn shops and Ralph is the guest star.

Just wait for a regular customer to come in. I’m sure they will have something to pick that lock. If they didn’t they wouldn’t be regular customers. Pawn shops, cash for gold, really.

Pawn shops can’t pay top dollar for an item because they need to sell it and make a profit. The price they will buy it for also includes projected ‘sit’ time as it waits for the buyer with $$$$
