And my domestic cat does the same thing to me when I pet her – she also BITES me – painful bites.

My old cat likes to sleep on his back,all paws in air.When I get a chance I grab a handful of hair ,boy he comes to just a clawing,sometimes I get scratcht or bit before he realizes its me.

Steve Irwin would be proud.

My cat never scratched me on purpose. I used to do this to him. He put up with a lot! Once he scratched me accidentally when something scared him and when he saw the marks he stared at me, horrified at what he’d done! He’s been gone for 10 years now and I still miss him.

Always need to be wary of a sneak attack by a “tummy gummer”!

The problem with a pet tiger is that it takes one really big litterbox – and you don’t dare neglect it.

This is really alot like me ‘n’ my boss: every once in a while I’ll throw caution to the wind and intentionally do something to just plain annoy him, just to see how long he can control his temper (he’s got a very short fuse and he’s practicing to be nice). Ahhhh: office entertainment on a slow day…

To a cat, going for the tummy is an attack on a vulnerable area, and up with the defenses. Still, it is hard to resist…

Anyone dumb enough to wake up a sleeping pet in an unexpected manner, deserves the response, violent or otherwise. My 12 year old son decided to grab our german shorthair by his ears while the dog slept. The dog came withing a half inch of biting his nose. My son couldn’t believe how fast the dog could react from a sound sleep and was really confused when he got a time-out for his prank. Our dog voluntarily sat next to him during his punishment; truly a loving animal.

It’s good work, if you can get it.

my wife trained our cat to love belly rubs. Now when we say"do you want a belly rub?" she’ll plop over on her back expecting one.

I’d say so. Running the rapids is pretty risky, I’d say.

Both Mua (like the one in my avatar), and Stormy, a black, grey and white tabby, loved tummy rubs, ot “tummy tickles”, as we called them. Stormy was particularly voluptuous about it.

Thus, furries exist nowadays.
