These two strips relate to panel #2 today. They also show how much Snoopy changed in 40 years.Click here: Peanuts (September 21, 1952)Click here: Peanuts (August 19, 1992)
I absolutely loved this C&H â only to be made better by Hobbes. Very clever and enjoyable Hobbes. And of course TopCat â most excellent. And Vonne Anton â mad at myself for laughing at that!Happy Nap Time to all you animals out there.
Apparently, Calvin should have âtruncâated his last comment to Hobbes. Thatâs the ârootâ of the problem. If he âleavesâ it alone, he wonât be up a tree.
Thank you Hobbes for the Peanuts wayback machine-ing!
I used to hide my C&H books from my rambunctious young son so as not to give him any ideas (with the immortal line, âHis momâs going to have a fit about those rose bushesâŠâ âand now heâs got a baby boy of his own. Who clearly will need his own copies. Bwahaahaa.

That really was an overreaction from Hobbes, even putting aside the fact that he launched the first insult.
