Re Blog:Exciting things are happening…..No. I’ve just looked in the “Exciting Place” and nothing’s going on there. Maybe you mean the steaming horse or the sloth (I like sloths).
I read somewhere that if a guy ever decides to clear his brush, it’s best to avoid aftershave down there because it will sting and burn beyond belief. I’m not willing to find out if it’s true or not. I’m a coward who fears even a paper cut.
I live seven miles out of town and we have the bookmobile stop just over a mile down the road. It arrives at 4:15PM and leaves at 7:15PM. The two ladiies who work on it are very friendly and know me by name. It also ends up being a place where I can visit with neighbors whom I would rarely see otherwise. What the bookmobile doesn’t stock can easily be requested online and then picked up on a future visit.
I have used Lectric Shave and Aqua Velva exclusively for years. The only cologne I ever used was Nine Flags (Italy).
Einstein: I had a pair of slippers like that when I was about 12. They were bright pink. I also had a Yorkshire Terrier. I will allow your imagination to figure out what happened when the two of them got together.
Teresa – I gotta know where you found the image of the bear (with human hands and feet) reading by the fire. -Please …do you still have my email address?
Mick and Ick look a lot like the two polyps my Doctor removed during my last colonoscopy. My polyps weren’t green … sort of dark pink … I mean, who has green polyps?-Wait … I know this … Kermit !!! Right? Did I get it right? Kermit?
There’s something about an Aqua Velva comic.I LIKE the lameness of Mick and IckAnd I can’t believe it took this long for that reference to appear. It would have been sooner if I didn’t have to go to running club this morning.
POSTER CHILD AND POSTER SLOTHIt’s not a cute baby sloth like the one in the blog, but I do have a picture of a sloth from back in the 70s when I was in Panama digitized. It’s lounging in a cecropia tree. You can get a bigger version by clicking on the picture.
RE: EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENINGNow, Ms. Teresa, you know that there’s always something exciting going on at Frog Applause even if certain people think it’s lame.
I just realized that we have all been tardy in congratulating you for having achieved a significant milestone in your GoComics career. Sometime between July 17 and July 20 FA achieved “ZOOM BUTTON” status.
Perhaps the celebration of that momentous event at Frog Applause World Headquarters got a little out of hand, and that’s why FA went AWOL for a couple of days?

Besides, I am just waiting to catch up to farmer John and his clap trap. Finding him can be like the proverbial haystack and needle….
….He has lovely eggs ( I said Eggs not Legs! ) and his character and toothless smile make me chuckle. My whole angle is the peel and the fresh factor and whether the bake method will effect the outcome.

Mick and Ick remind me of Peto and Flek, who specialize in being unfunny:

Hmm, never heard of Peto and Flek (above), but I wondered if this might be a hit on “Ollie and Quentin”. Which have indeed just recently resurfaced.
