I’ve read several times here that Teresa is married to nighthawks. Then I saw on another gocomics page about nighthawks being an artist, and this site:http://www.artofbryan.com/about.htm

I’m starting to believe it now.

The blog: interesting how the mantis and the dog can read each other’s signs of aggression…. Wonder what the Bette Davis film is? ….Speaking of aggression: amazing what coffee can do to a couple in a competitive atmosphere.

i’ve done a los angeles phone book. there’s a trick and you need a certain amount of grip and strength, but once it starts to tear it goes like butter. i’m no strongman and i learned how to do it. it’s a trick.

Malta is an intriguing country. Many of their buildings are built of those yellow limestone blocks, and some of the most ancient prehistoric temples can be found there. It is more Catholic than Rome, if that is possible, and the countryside carries a particular fragrance in the summertime, as farmers there use pig manure to fertilize their fields. Their language is an unusual offshoot of Arabic but written with the Roman alphabet, and containing numerous Italian words.

I’m surprised the MALTESIANS have enough energy/stamina/strength/motivation to open those doors.

Wish I could help on the webcrawling and search questions, I’m pretty ignorant about such things. I’m betting some others here will have some good ideas for you.

Teresa: re http://obituarytypo.blogspot.nl/ : that’s the site address I automatically end up when I cluck the chicken. Maybe it only does that when it is suspected that you are Dutch. But, like you, I have no idea if it’s a mirror or a re-direction or what. Now I think about it, it could well be a ‘what’.

Teresa, I found the blog search engine at the exretme upper-left corner of the blog page. I had to click on it several times to get it to respond; that may have been a problem wth my computer, though.

The wiki page on mirrors is here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mirror_(computing)

and this is one of the things it says about mirror sites:

“To allow faster downloads for users at a specific geographical location. For example, a U.S. server could be mirrored in Japan, allowing Japanese Internet users to download content faster from the local Japanese server than from the original American one. This may be viewed as caching on a worldwide scale.”

I have no idea how internet mirrors are created. Maybe it means Treerabbit is only one of many, many Frog fans in the Benelux region.
