This should be out it paints a fauls image of home schooled students me being one i know this is wrong. Get your facts straite before you submit a comic for public viewing. Btw I went to prom with my gf at a high school.
I know it’s just a comic. But, it misrepresents home schoolers. By the comments too, home schoolers and home schooling is misunderstood. Many home schooled students go to proms. If they can’t (by law) attend at their neighborhood school, there are home schooling organizations that plan them each year. I have been home schooling for over 17 years (not a lot of kids, just 3 spread out!) and have never met any others who didn’t date or dance. There are a very few conservative families, but most of the families I know of don’t do it for religious reasons.
It’s amazing how even here on an extremely non-political strip prejudice (“Xtian”) can come out from some people. For the record, my daughter and son-in-law home-schooled my granddaughter for a year or two before putting her back in “the system”. We and they are all Jewish, and not radically so, either.

Now you can carry on to that bright new world of “home university”.

I wonder who will get “king” of the prom ….. probably the school’s top athlete, as usual.

Who is his prom date? Or maybe I do not want to know.

The Xtian freaks who home school their kids do not allow them to either date or dance.

Thank you, L Nelson! I also home schooled two of my kids. I am “retired” now, and they are both doing very well.

Yeah, I’m not much into huge crowds either.
