OK… I get that this has something to do (anachronistically) with that Supreme Court ruling. But can somebody explain what the joke is supposed to be?

I told my wife if I’m ever on fire and Pepsi was all she had to pour on me…to let me burn. She said don’t worry, she would not wast her Pepsi on me.

I say Pesi. “Taste that beats the others cold!” (old slogan from the mid-1960’s).

Both will make you fat and diabetic. It’s like asking which rat poison is better to drink?

I’m surprised nobody has said, “Koch (brothers) rule.”

To be honest, both Pepsi AND Coke are terrible. I’m more of a Sprite gal.

Oh, all Us corporations(as well as quite a few multinational corporations) are aboard for these elections – most support both side and have a couple of 4-8 year business plans. After they know which way to jump, they will start hiring again.

Evidently you’re ready to believe whatever’s pushed at you…like the right-wing conception(!) of women…and most of you, in marketing parlance…ARE those kind of women, whatever ‘gender’ you think you are. Never been overseas, but on Mexico’s west coast Pepsi’s the main drink. (At least it was a few years ago.)I prefer Coke myself, though Mtn. Dew or Dr. Pepper beats either one.

The People think they choose a political party to rule . when in fact. Citizens United and corporations, unions with the rights of individuals donate almost 400x more untraceable dollars to influence election outcomes. Who rules?

Is Pepsi used as a mixer in any drinks? I’ve never heard of one, but I’m not a drinker.

Decades ago they had this slogan: Be sociable – have a Coke! And this joke went round: Pepsi and Coke amalgamated and the new slogan was: Be sociable – have a I forget the rest.

Never seen one here – I’m counting my blessings!We have 3 McDonalds’ in town that I know of – onecould Wish that at least one of them were a BurgerKing.

Back in the 70’s we had a Dodger-Pepsi fan club in Southern California … got certificates for a free 6-pack of Pepsi each week from the grocery store – always bottles … favorite drinks were ice cream floats with vanilla ice cream… accidentally got DIET pepsi one time – totally ruined that week’s choice of drink … haven’t have any cola drinks in years, though diet coke is preferable over many. Rather enjoy Fresca or diet grapefruit soda with a shot of cran-grape Amway XS Energy drink syrup in a big glass of ice cubes – it’s my version of “morning coffee” since I cannot stand the taste of coffee (like the smell, though.) But I also sell it, too, so I’m prejudiced. LOL.

Citizens United was probably one of the very worst piece of legislation for voters, makes every body else more or less irrelevant.

Saw a YouTube interview with Justice Scalia and he believed money was speech, and speech is protected. I disagree. Money is money & speech is speech. That’s why the Republican-appointed justices voted for Citizens United, now corporations essentially buy the elections.
