With the greatest tools for educating, debating, and looking for real solutions in a polite respectful manner…all we voters get are “He’s a much worse person to vote for than I am” ads. Thousands of bridges in the nation are in disrepair. How many will have to die before they are repaired/rebuilt. One of the worst droughts in our history is causing financial hardship immediately to farmers and their support businesses and will soon be costing the rest of us more to pay for food. Why not build a pipeline to move water from flooded areas and desalination plants to parts of the country that need it? How are we going to raise the quality of our schools so we once more lead the world in math and sciences? How are we going to help our veterans from Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, etc. enjoy the quality of life for which they fought and their brothers and sisters died? There are too many pressing issues for these petty middleschool prima donna contests.To paraphrase Antonio Banderas, are we Ameri-Cans, or Ameri-Cant’s"?I think we are the former, but have allowed ourselves to be distracted and turned against each other. I love how Akin is being hung out to dry by the GOP for giving voice to their platform. I don’t blame them for wanting to keep it a secret.

Afghanistan was a violent cesspool of corruption long before we got there. Vietnam and for that matter, China, are doing well because their governments spent massive amounts of money to build up their tech manufacturing capabilities.

this one is just plain silly. Goes past funny. But Akin, that is what they ALL believe. Today someGOP people were on and said that Ryan isn’t a pro-lifer because he isn’t radical enough. I guess they meant he isn’t wanting to ban contraceptives…..Yet.
