I don’t do Facebook either. The FBI is using Facebook to add to it’s face recognition database. Their goal is to be able to track people using a network of cameras. George Orwell had the plot right, but the title should have been 2012 not 1984.

@ WillardMBakerIf the FEEBs are using my Facebook picture to use in their face recognition database they’ll have a good shot of a cat. lolAnd yes, I’ve said for years now that George Orwell had the right idea, just the year was off a bit. Eerie how spot on, in some ways, a book written in 1949 has been, eh?

I agree!! The worst is my neighbor who insists that everything her kids say and do is hilarious. I tried turning off the updates from her, but since I see her at the bus stop and she talks about her posts there, I had to turn them back on. Bo-ring!!(The only reason that I’m still on FB is because all of our family is long-distance and this is the best way to keep up-to-date with them.)

My FB picture is a lovely colored Tenniel illustration of The Mad Hatter. It fits me, but looks nothing like me. Other info is bogus, too. I can be tracked by the email address, but that won’t give them anything – I was raised to be paranoid about giving unneeded information.
