Is Petraeus Red Rascal’s love interest?

Disappointing. Never seen such a thing. Poor taste in Doonesbury. Can’t believe what I see. Gotta go before it’s too late. Better remember the good old satire and forget what I saw here in the last two days. Bye.

I think she used to be a librarian. If not, she should be!

Somehow Jeff and Becca remind me of Dudley Do-Right and Nell. Dudley liked Nell, but she was only interested in Dudley’s horse. Of course, Dudley’s horse was the brains of the operation.

I remember this sequence. Petraeus and his lathered haunches reminded me of the Byrds song, “Chestnut Mare,” where Roger McGuinn apparently wants to marry a horse.“I’m gonna catch that horse if I can,And when I do I’ll give her my brand,And we’ll be friends for life. She’ll be just like a wife.I’m gonna catch that horse if I can.”

Nothing like the smell of a sweaty stallion to get the female heart beating….

Adolescent girls often become horse crazy Some grow oout of it; others become vets. It seems to be a way of gaining power, incorporating the horse’s strength into her persona. Or not.

I remember the dress, but not this dialogue, nor the “lovely lie” or whatever from day before yesterday. How do I go back to find these strips from before? I have seen it done here. Thanks.

https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=142201I’m glad I found it. Otherwise, I might be a precog with visions of lathered haunches. I’d need to see Dennis Rodman’s therapist.

Sounds like Petraeus isn’t the only one who’s all lathered up.

lol! Very good! What @Redkaycei Repoc said . . . In addition, if you want to be a true right-wing parody like Colbert, you need more ‘funny’ . . . let me think about it . . .

    RR,

Ole Ed has very little use for the truth. He just makes it up as he goes along. But here is some truth:In 1986 a discothèque in Berlin was bombed, 2 American service men were killed and 79 were injured. In 1988 the Pan Am flight 103 was brought down by an explosion over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 270 people- including 189 Americans.Because of President Obama’s policies, the man responsible for these attacks against American citizens and interests- Mummar Qaddafi- is now dead.Do the conservatives remember who was president when these attacks took place, or when TWA Flight 847 was hijacked by Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad in 1985 and an American sailor was beaten to death?A US President, no matter who he is or what party he belongs to, has very little control over events that happen on foreign soil. Only blind political opportunists would blame the president under these circumstances.
