My beloved cat was very long-bodied; after being neutered, he became very heavy, clocking in at about 25 lbs. We called him the GCPO, after the label on his dry food: “For Geriatric Cats Prone to Obesity.”We knew he was ill that last year because he lost a lot of weight seemingly overnight.I do think though that this cartoon has more to do with the Administration at the time than worries about public obesity. Pork barrel politics, anyone?
