How do you know when a lawyer is lying? His lips are moving.

The Easter Bunny, an honest lawyer and a crooked lawyer are walking down the street. There’s a $20 bill on the sidewalk. Who picks it up? The crooked lawyer, of course. The other 2 don’t really exist.

It’s supposed to be ambiguous I think. That way it could be taken as liar OR lawyer.

It’s not a mistake. Rick Detorie is trying to replicate James’ accent. (And that’s also why Joe misunderstood the word.)

Interestly, today’s comic features lawyers, too, but not as the main attraction.

Every lawyer is a liar and a cheat except your lawyer? Or you should hire the worst liar and biggest cheat to be your lawyer? Hmm. Caught on the horns of a dilemma.
