Baslim has hit on the key point. Dad may be putting on a tie, but is still pant-less. And, besides, I’m not sure any of those old Civil Defense Shelters are still open and functional….
Even worse … possibly a sign that they are going somewhere that will require him to wear one. (Interestingly enough, my son hates being told to wear a tie, but loves the fact that he looks really, really good when he does.)
