Adam; Okay, honey. Just give me a second. Katy; Soooo itchy. Adam; Uh-oh. Katy; Is that a good uh-oh or a bad uh-oh. Adam; Is there ever such a thing as a good uh-oh? Katy; Sure. "Uh-oh I accidentally gave you two scoops instead of one." Adam; Not to be nitpicky...

I – sadly – remember those days all too well. Once, while out camping, we found nits on one of the boys. Went out & bought clippers and (since we were at a campground with outlets) sat down outside and cut all his hair off. For good measure, we cut his brother’s as well. Ah, memories.

Glad that’s one thing I never had to worry about as a parent. (waiting for someone to ask why)

Only had to deal with that once with my son. My daughter never picked it up (thank God!). That was NOT fun!

Somebody brought lice into the boarding school I attended. They didn’t cut our hair, but put something on/in it that burned and itched. Yuck!

Yet another “Comic Strip Kids Have Head Lice” story line. How about something new and innovative, like, say, “Stranded On A Desert Island” or “Man In A Cannibal Pot”?

I never had to deal with it at all. But the main question is how did it all start in the first place? It started somewhere.

I’m thankful I never had to deal with that with my kids either. They’re adopted and have hair that’s curly and sometimes tight. Head-shaving would probably have been involved. :-(
