Kyle the philosopher!
There are plenty of things in life one shouldn’t catch.
Just open the door of the ice cream truck and get the ice cream and then open the gate.
It’s not the destination, it’s the journey. Just throw some caltrips in front of the gate, and get out of there.
This story arc has been a mashup of Herman Melville and Chuck Jones. AND I LOVE IT!
Definitely a great arc! Make a deal: Give us some ice cream, you see; then, we will be happy to set you free!
I don’t know if I can go back to regular Crabgrass after this.
Then what’s the point of chasing it if you don’t want to catch it?
Catch and release?
Woah! Kyle is dishing out the heavy stuff like nobody’s business!
He found out the truck is empty, years ago.
Should’ve told Ahab first!!
Gotta love how Kyle can go from mean older brother to wise older brother on a whim.
I mean, I guess it is easier to run over to the market?
It’s “catch and release,” just like fishing.
How old is Benji? 40?
Hold her hostage! One ice cream novelty for all, THEN she can go on her way! I suggest either a “Sonic” or a “Choco taco.” <3
That’s like me and chess. I was meant to play chess, not win it.
The thrill of the chase. Just like dogs chasing cars. What would they do if they actually caught one?
<3 panel 4!
OK, OK, but what if you’re a kid who’d just like to have an ice cream treat now and then?? A solipsistic self-aware decoy ice cream truck is a cruel delusion.
OH MY DAYS
I scream, you scream, we all scream cause we don’t wanna let go…
This was deep today, Tauhid. This is a comic that I’d cut out of the paper and put on the fridge. (I’ll instead print it.)
Relatively new to reading Crabgrass and I can’t help but think of The Ramones when I see Kyle.
