My SIL nuked a toaster by “toasting” those hashbrowns like you get at McDonalds. She’d been doing it for a few weeks until all the grease/oil built up enough to ignite….
The IS a brand of toasted cheese sandwiches . I simply had to test that out – They do toast up; they’re ok, but not as good as those done in the ol’ cast iron skillet.
When I was a kid, one of my sisters and I decided to butter the bread before toasting it. Wow, was it good! We only got to do it until Mom found out, though.
[bro] our old toaster was as we liked to call it “possessed”. it would burn toast at one sometimes, you could also put it at 1 or 2 and you turn around and look back its at like 7, and sometimes it wouldn’t stop toasting the bread and it would literally catch on fire! luckily we got a new toaster.

If you firmly crimp the edges and turn the toaster on its side, you can make a PBJ “fruit pie”.

My mom made grilled pb&j sandwiches when I was young, my sister loved them but I preferred grilled cheese.

Haha! Been there done that, Miles! Peanut butter can be very flammable! At least he didn’t stick a knife in there to try and extract it.
